It feels like yesterday we were oohing and ahhing over La Machine but just like that, it’s time for another weekend! A long weekend at that, so whether you stick around town or are out adventuring, have a great time!
This weekend isn’t only about the giant monsters of La Machine, although we are pretty excited to check them out. With lots happening in the city and on the outskirts (we’re looking at you, MayoFest!), grab your friends and have a blast.
Let us begin with a bit of good news: this weekend promises a little nugget of sunshine and a whole lotta great things going on to compensate for the rain drops and grey skies. From there, we jump head first into this weekend’s goings on.
The week was short, but there is no shortage of things to keep you occupied in and around town. Happy summer weekending!
From Glowfair to Rallycross to Craftfest to the Beer Fest, there’s something for everyone this weekend in Ottawa!
Happy weekend, Ottawa. Once again, the city has plenty on offer as we cruise to the end of May.
Another weekend is upon us! We have paid our dues and Mother Nature is rewarding us with (mainly) sunshine and blue skies on this first of the warmer months’ long weekends. Burgeoning with goings on right out of the gate, you might want to consider taking Friday off work. Begin the festivities early and then full steam ahead until Monday.
Welcome back to the weekend, Ottawa. While the April showers may be stretching into May, the city is a-blossom with activities.
Spring is on its way and it seems like everyone has something planned for this weekend. So without further ado, let’s get to it Ottawa!
After a brief reminder that we’re not quite out of the winter woods yet, the weekend holds greater promise of spring. And as always, there’s lots going on to keep you distracted from the fact that the spring equinox has passed and there’s “mixed precipitation” in the forecast for Friday.

Here you have it: this weekend’s shortlist.
Hallowe’ekend is a tough act to follow, but this first weekend of November has managed to succeed, despite it all.
