On the heels of a sold-out world premiere at Inside Out Film Festival in Toronto, The Fruit Machine will have its Ottawa premiere this weekend at the Mayfair Theatre. The film examines the four decades-long homosexual witch-hunt where survivors recount their personal stories of dedication and betrayal at the hands of the Canadian government.
The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) is hosting a free screening of the film A Fantastic Woman at the ByTowne Cinema on Thursday, May 17 from 8pm to 11pm.
