The Ottawa Art Gallery will open the doors to its brand new building on Saturday, April 28. On Wednesday, three nights prior, Apartment613 joined a crew of #ottarts photographers for a special preview of the OAG before opening weekend.

One of the new gallery spaces will host Àdisòkàmagan / Nous connaitre un peu nous mêmes / We’ll All Become Stories, the OAG’s inaugural exhibition on view until September 16, 2018.

The new arts facility is connected to Arts Court, the city-owned heritage building where the OAG first opened in 1988. By increasing to about 55,000 square feet in size, the OAG is quadrupling its gallery space while gaining a café, art shop, studio space, as well as a multi-purpose programming space and stunning outdoor terraces.

Admission to the Ottawa Art Gallery is always free. See here for a schedule of special programming, parties and activities being offered to the public on opening weekend.
