After receiving 45 nominations and thousands of votes for the inaugural Ottawa Social Impact Awards in 2016, Impact Hub Ottawa will again present awards to celebrate community leaders who are making Ottawa more inclusive, safe, and sustainable. Awards will be presented in three categories:

  1. Social Enterprise: An organization that advances or fulfills a social purpose through a business model or revenue-generating component of their operations.
  2. Community Initiative: An organization or group of people collaborating on a project that advances or fulfills a social purpose.
  3. Future Leaders: Students between the ages of 18–29 currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution in Ottawa, collaborating on a social enterprise or business concept with a social purpose.

Presented in partnership with the City of Ottawa, winners will receive a $1,000 cash prize plus a one-year membership to Impact Hub Ottawa.
