New shows are being added to the TD Ottawa Jazz Festival lineup, and sources at the fest say there are more to be announced.

Earlier this month, about 15 more concerts were listed on the Jazzfest website. They join the likes of Feist, Robert Glasper, and Joss Stone, who were among the bevy of Jazzfest artists announced on March 22.

Ottawa’s own Tropikombo, HILOTRONS, and The PepTides are among these bonus bands. All three are highly recommended for their live shows.

Other highlights include R&B vocalist Tanika Charles, who performs on opening night, June 22 at the Tartan Homes Stage (Marion Dewar Plaza in front of City Hall).

Canadian country singer Lindi Ortega will now play ahead of Kenny Rogers, Saturday June 24 on the Tartan Homes Stage.
