Coming into town this Friday are Japanese heavy hitters ONE OK ROCK, bringing their own brand of alternative music to Algonquin Commons Theatre. With millions of fans worldwide, the quartet regularly play arena shows in Japan that can hold over 20,000 people. Now is the chance to see them at an intimate venue on their first trip to Ottawa.
The band’s musical influences can be heard throughout the eight studio albums they have released, ranging from the likes of early Good Charlotte to the new age Linkin Park. When releasing an album, ONE OK ROCK usually puts out both an English and a Japanese version, and although they might sound different as some melodies must be changed they all still rock out. One thing to be ready for is that the band will have an insane amount of energy, providing the audience with a concert to remember.
Grab your tickets for what is sure to be an amazing show at Algonquin Commons Theatre on Friday July 21. Doors open at 6pm and show starts at 7pm with opening acts Set It Off and Palisades. For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
