Rebecca Noelle, BLAKDENIM, Émile Bilodeau and more artists feature in a new live music series at the National Arts Centre.
NAC Presents curators will be packing the National Arts Centre with Canadian songwriters and local bands this fall. On top of a 2017 lineup which has doubled in size, NAC Presents will give life to the newly renovated Fourth Stage venue with weekly concerts with a brand new Fridays at the Fourth series. Ottawa’s jazzy and electric hip hop group BLAKDENIM will freshly mint the series which presents a new artist every Friday until December 15.
“With the re-opening of the Fourth Stage, NAC Presents will be showcasing great new Canadian songwriters like never before. We will welcome local and national emerging artists, long time Ottawa favourites, and some of Canada’s most beloved performers,” says Heather Gibson, Executive Producer of NAC Presents.
On Fridays, the Fourth Stage will open early on for after-work crowds and early arrivals to grab a drink before the show at 8:30pm.
1 of 11 shows has already sold out (a second date was added for soul singer Rebecca Noelle) so don’t waste any more time before listening to this lineup. To help you get into it, Apt613 music contributors have curated a playlist with the best tracks we were able to discover on Spotify. Listen up!
