Juan Pablo Villegas is a multidisciplinary artist whose interest lay in the intersection of cinema, sound art, photography, food, pedagogy and electronic engineering. His work is based on research processes where he seeks to expand the boundaries of the medium through which works to broaden perspectives. As a sound artist he has performed throughout the U.S.A., Europe, Asia and South America, in festivals like: FMEL (Chicago, USA), Nweamo (New York, USA), Bent Festival (New York, USA), Hybrid city (Tokyo, Japan), Bochum Video Festival ( Bochum, Germany), Festival of Sound Art (Mexico City, Mexico), Mutek (Mexico City, Mexico), among others.
Eraserheads is a Canadian experimental rock band from Ottawa/Hull, Ontario/Quebec, formed in 2012. The band consists of Jamie Kronick (drums) and Omar David Rivero (guitar).
Jennifer Stewart is a photographic artist based in Ottawa-Gatineau. Since graduating from SPAO in 2010, she continues to use film to document her fleeting thoughts. Her career; working with teens on the autism spectrum, informs her work on a psychological level.
Recently, she has embarked upon a collaborative project with musician Omar David Rivero entitled Carousel; a series of of projector pieces in which music and image merge to establish an emotional vocabulary.
