Meet your telescope!

November 8 @ 4:30 pm5:30 pm

Free

Ever wanted to learn how to put together or use that telescope in your closet or garage? Know someone like that? Now’s your chance! On November 9, volunteers from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) in conjunction with the Ottawa Public library, are holding a telelscope clinic at the Carp library.

Registrants with telescopes will be paired up one-on-one with volunteers who will help them learn about their telescope. Registration is through an email to a volunteer with the RASC, at danko@pobox.com. The registration via the library site says it is full, only to force registration through the e-mail. Please describe the telescope you want to bring, in as much detail as possible. Start time is actually 16:45 and end time is 17:45. If weather permits, we’ll order pizza and stay for the monthly RASC stargazing event in the parking lot after dark.
