The Open Democracy Project is a not-for-profit, democratic, democratic, and democratic process. We believe that you should have access to powerful campaign tools, such as:
Startup fundraising plans tailored to team size and experience, a blueprint for building voter contact operations, affordable and effective digital tools, such as websites and contact management systems.
Canada’s capital city has always been a hub of dynamic municipal politics, a centre for local action, and now has an emerging civic tech landscape. This is why the timing is ripe for the local launch of the DemocracyKit in Ottawa!
Join us for our DemocracyKit Town Hall where we will present plans for launch of the Ottawa group, socialize with fellow campaigners, and give an overview of our April roundtables hosted at Civic Tech Ottawa. This is a chance to meet and engage with other change-makers, discover valuable resources, and meet campaigners from different parts of Ottawa.
Tell us your story! There will be several stations set up for you to create a profile and share a bit about yourself, or your campaign experience.
Over the coming weeks, we will also launch a DemocracyKit working group at Civic Tech Ottawa with a series of content development round tables through April for the DemocracyKit knowledge library, campaign plans, and online courses.
