On March 30 at 7:30PM in the Arts Court Theatre, Canadian Film Institute Executive Director Tom McSorley will conduct an extensive, career-spanning onstage conversation with Guy Maddin, looking at his film works, his artistic process, and his rise from his first film in 1985 to becoming one of Canada’s most well-known and celebrated filmmakers. This interview will also feature excerpts from many films in Maddin’s remarkable filmography. Doors open at 7:00pm. This interview will be immediately followed by a reception in the Arts Court Studio, and Guy Maddin will be in attendance to meet audience members.

On April 1 at 7:30PM at Carleton University’s River Building Theatre, Guy Maddin will be presenting a selection of his films; two short films and one feature: Archangel (1990). The shorts will be accompanied live by Carleton University Professor of Music, Jesse Stewart.
