Call to Prayer is an immersive, sonic installation which draws on the musical traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Beginning as separate threads, the voices of three local vocalists gradually become entwined, forming a tonal fabric that finds harmony in difference. Call to Prayer is an attempt to harmonize the music of religious thought and scripture into an inclusive, visceral, and ultimately emotional experience.
